Stop & Drop Car Line

The Stop & Drop program allows children to be dropped off and picked up in a controlled area and escorted to and from campus. 

 

In order for this service to work effectively, we MUST HAVE PARENT VOLUNTEERS.

DROP OFF There are 2 locations:

TK/KINDER will be dropped off at the front entrance on Hammond Street.

1-5TH will be dropped off at the side gate entrance off Harratt Street.

  • PICK UP There are 2 locations:

    • TK-2ND will be PICKED UP at the front AUDITORIUM/SCHOOL.

    • 3-5TH will be PICKED UP at HARRATT GATE.

    • SIBLINGS- Older siblings who have a younger sibling in TK-2nd, should go with younger to get picked up in front of the Auditorium/School​

CAR LINE INSTRUCTIONS:

Those entering from CYNTHIA Street- go North on HAMMOND Street. Car line starts at the corner of Harratt and Hammond.  

Those entering from SUNSET- go south on Hammond, then turn LEFT onto HARRATT Street.

 

For Volunteers IN THE MORNING​

  • We need families to take 10 shifts per year to be fully staffed. 5 volunteers for Hammond Street and 5 volunteers for Harratt Street.  Volunteer shifts are arranged by student grade.

  • Please arrive for your shift by 7:45.

  • When arriving, please pick up a safety vest from the rear stairwell on the first floor.

  • Safety cones (also in the rear stairwell) should be placed on painted dots on Hammond and Harratt Streets.

  • No children on the sidewalk or curb, please! Your student can be sent to the play yards during your shift.

  • Valet services end at 8:15. Students arriving after this time should be escorted by their parents inside school.

  • There is NO STUDENT DROP-OFF in any of the campus parking lots.

THINGS TO REMEMBER- IMPORTANT!​​​​​​​​​​​

  • Have your Kid Account card with you for pick up!

  • Pull as far forward as directed by volunteers and put your car in park.

  • Stay in your car and do not open your car door- QR codes will be scanned prior to exiting the vehicle and your child will proceed to their location.  

    • (TK-K) Students will go directly to the Kinder yard and (1st-5Th) Students will then go directly to the upper yard. 

  • Have students prepare their backpacks to quickly exit the car while in the valet line.

  • Keep entrance to the teacher parking lot & crosswalk on Hammond clear.
